Q is for questions

When I Googled the word questions, the very first result I got was Great Questions, from the website StoryCorps, which, for the last decade, has been recording people telling their stories.

A few examples of questions:

•Who has been the most important person in your life? Can you tell me about him or her?
•What was the happiest moment of your life? The saddest?
•Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did that person teach you?
•Who has been the kindest to you in your life?
•What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
•What is your earliest memory?

It occurred to me that a blogger, stuck for content, could create a meme - actually, several - in answering some of these questions.

A few questioning songs:

Chicago - Questions 67 And 68
Question Mark and the Mysterians - 96 Tears
The Moody Blues- Question

From the latter:

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war?
Because the truth is hard to swallow
That's what the war of love is for.

  1. Great choice and intro to the letter Q, Roger!

  2. You are a great philosopher, Roger!

  3. You've made a point to ponder. Blessings!

  4. I would like some answers to my questions! Somehow, Answers are not so common as questions! :)

  5. Questions are what keeps us going.. Quite a post !!

  6. I found you or I should say re-found you while doing my #WW hops this morning. I'm borrowing your badge, so I can display it on my blog page More Blog Hops and I hope to join in on the ABC Wednesday fun sometime in the very near future. I like doing this sorta thing. Questions...quick thinking for the "Q" prompt. Wait, I think I can at least for the moment share my most recent #AprilA2Z "Q" prompt post with y'all, here and then if you want just browse around! :D

  7. Who can question this choice? Thanks for sharing.

  8. Nicely querulous intro! My "Q" is for QUEEN Victoria Market in Melbourne.

  9. Roger, this usually difficult letter has sparked a lot of creativity from the group! Quizzes, travelogues, the amazing history of the town in Kansas that was an important stopping point on the Underground Railroad, interesting images... Quality! Quintessential! LOL Amy

  10. When I read the Moody Blues' lyrics, I was going to make some kind of smartass quip about the youth of the 1970s, which includes me. As I'm listening to the song, I wonder: When did we stop asking that question?

  11. Good post on questions, tho many them questions rather left me stuck in my head ha ha ha.

  12. Valid Questions.
Love the ending lines. Very true.
    Have a wonderful week :)
